Recently I've been obsessed with watching
Zero Wast Life
On YouTube。
(↑I think there's a Japanese version too??)
Living without producing any rubbish 😌
I'd like to learn to live like this too🥕
It seems hard to make any money while living this sort of lifestyle、but if someday I get married and have kids、surely it would be nice to raise them out in the countryside and rely on the land??
That's what I've been thinking about 💭笑lol
I feel like life in New Zealand is very focused on sustainability🌏
The vegetables at the supermarket aren't wrapped、there's no plastic bags at the tills、and even a paper bag costs about ¥30。
Noone uses cling film at home either。
Things are kept in the fridge in glass tupperware。
Vegetable peelings and leftover food is composted、or fed to the chickens。
Children's clothes are upcycled、and later cut into thin strips to use instead of string in the garden、
And waste oil is used to make soap。
Unneeded clothes are never thrown away and always donated。
There are so many second had stores。
I bought some cute second hand furniture for ¥5000 that would have cost at least ¥50000 in Japan。
No matter what、everything is reused、and passed on。
It's amazing〜。。
It's not always that convenient、
But that makes it even more meaningful 🍋
When you're living in the city、it does make things harder、、
Everything is wrapped in plastic、it's unavoidable 🌀
But even so、even in small ways、
I'd like to find ways to promote this sustainability。
↑I was talking to this shop owner and they said that making these is their retirement hobby。
I love that 🍴✨️
